Print settings Mk3 parts ?

Hiya and Merry Christmas.

Does anyone know the basic print settings for re-printing most of the Mk3 parts ?
Looking to do a colour change on mine.

Layer height, perimeters, infill etc.

Cheers.

Simon, where did you get the files for the MK3 spare parts? Because of all the issues I'm seeing with people damaging parts I think it would be a good idea to have spares created as some of the first projects.
I'm thinking I would like to personalize the color also.

Parts are on Github:

As above on the location of the parts.

As for settings, it appears no-one has them.

Yes, I realized that ever since I read another post. Thank you, maximilian. When I went there to look at it all I knew about was STL, so I didn't even look in the scad folder.
Being a new guy at this I'm learning, but learning fast. I'll be downloading SCAD and learning that with PrusaControl for the few CAD projects I've already created. Learning as I go.

Re: Print settings Mk3 parts ?

I find it strange they don’t share their print settings. But I find many things Prusa does / does not do to be strange.

What we know for sure is they use PETG at 0.35mm layer height. I find if I use the default settings in slic3r it comes out acceptable. The only change I make is 0.2 elephant foot compensation. I can usually use the parts straight off the platter with no post processing.

Started printing some of my parts and comparing to the originals.
I'm getting better formed holes and cleaner looking parts using 0.2mm layer height, printing PETG at PLA settings and temps in PrusaControl. Then I go in and edit the gcode to set the bed temp to 85 degrees.

Re: Print settings Mk3 parts ?

I printed all parts on my MK2S in PETG in 0.15 layer height with the settings for generic PET. I didn't like the orange parts and also completely black wasn't one of my favorites. 😉
