Possible FW Bug- Stealth vs. Normal Mode 3.1.1-RC4 b143

Hi all,

I recently upgraded the firmware of my MK3 to 3.1.1-RC4 b143 and after connected using Pronterface. I have no idea if this issue existed before the firmware upgrade.

Upon connecting I noticed a "tmc2130_init(), mode=STEALTH" and checked the LCD menu on the printer. Sure enough it reports mode is set to Normal and that crash detection is on. If I switch modes on the printer Pronterface reports the opposite. Which one do I believe?

So my next question is- how do I tell if my printer is in Stealth mode or normal mode? And do others have the same issue?

I noticed the same thing a few minutes ago. It is the setting on the printer display that is correct.

Best regards

I agree. The printer's LCD seems to be correct and the serial console output seems to be incorrect.
