PETG fail ruin PTFE tube and shop.prusa have none in stock
TLDR -
PETG print stringed overnight into Noctua fan
hotend overheat because no Noctua
PETG heated and swell in PTFE tube in hotend
no PTFE tube in stock on shop.prusa
I have disassembled and extracted the tube, and can measure it, but do not know if it is bulged from heat and compaction filled with solid PETG
I am sure it is sold anywhere, probably hardware store down the street, but not interested in making more problems buying wrong size. Plz halp
edit - I do have PTFE from spare bowden of my CR-10, perhaps this is suitable? I measure it and it is very similar, only thing missing is the chamfer on the end by the bondtech gear for easier filament change
Re: PETG fail ruin PTFE tube and shop.prusa have none in stock
looks like 4mm OD and 2mm ID, and do not understand why 1 spare is not included with the printer. It is listed on shop.prusa @1.69$ US for a 48mm piece plus 14$ shipping (15.69$) and I can buy a 10 meter spool on amazon for 17$ free shipping... so each piece from the shop costs 7 cents (if you buy 10m rolls, and I am sure you are buying 1000m at a time and getting a better price.) I know its a business but you throw extra nuts and bolts in there, losing 1 ptfe and having a spare would mean I could get back to printing and source a new spare without downtime.
I guess I will murder my SPARE 640mm bowden that came INCLUDED with my CR-10, and order another 10M roll on amazon to replace that and many more.

Hi Ben,
I believe the mk3 ptfe is actually 1.9mm ID, but I doubt 2mm ID will make a significant difference
don't forget to chamfer the outside of the lower end and the inside of the upper end
