Odd layer lines:

Despite using the latest firmware and slicr download, I’m still getting odd layer lines:

Any thoughts?

Re: Odd layer lines:

It sounds like you've ruled out software as a root cause. That leaves something electronic or mechanical.

It looks like there's no lines near the bottom, then they're really bad, and taper off after a while. Are the defects always at the same height?

Re: Odd layer lines:

If you search the MK3 forum for "layer lines" you'll see several things that affect the print. Your post reminded me of something so I looked back and provide it as a thought to you below.

... and other lighter color PLAs like to be printed at up to 230 degrees. layer lines will disappear a bit.

As I can provide time I want to put together a document on all MK3, 3D printing, filament issue and other troubleshooting issues in one document.

So,
I thought I’d try out using the Prusa Control application to export the gcode.
I can definitely say that the print quality is MUCH BETTER. This is leading me to think it’s the Slicr settings.
Now, I downloaded and installed the Slicr software using the Prusa bundle on here so it should have the right settings no?
