Noctua Fan Cover
My first MK3 mod. "This fan cover is designed to direct air from above the extruder rather than across the surface of the printing part. It helps to minimize warping in this way. It installs in seconds. Although it has screw holes, the "snap fit" holds it securely." https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2727883
Re: Noctua Fan Cover
Not sure if I actually need it (have not printed anything tall yet) but thank you for sharing.
Printing it now actually to test warping issue with Benchy I have been reading about in another thread. It will be needed to mount it after XYZ calibration though because it will not calibrate X as there is something in the way the printer does not know by itself. (I had the cooling fan cable sticking out 1-2 mm where it makes a 90 degree corner to the cable guide and X calibration was a no-no.)
Re: Noctua Fan Cover
Printed the part and attached it to the fan. Tight fit, no screw needed. Printing could not manage the top side without supports apparently but the top is not needed, both side 'grips' are printed so good enough. Thanks once again.

Re: Noctua Fan Cover
Design and post a part on the forum, then delete it from thingiverse. Yeah, why not...
