My 0.000 Live Z Adjustmet is still too far away from bed
Hey guys, I have a dilemma.
After not using my MK3 for a few weeks I tried a re-calibration but when I get to the Live-Z my nozzle is still too far from the bed to get proper squishing of the filament.
What should I do about correcting this? I wish there is a setting in the software to go + down the Z with Live Z Adjustment but I have a feeling that there's a good reason behind that.
Here's a print I stopped just after the first layer to show what's going on:

Double check the height difference between the nozzle and the pinda and move the pinda down if needed. Read the manual carefully, z-adjust worked the opposite to what I was expecting.

I have lowered the PIDA quite a bit, I wouldn't go further because I would have less than 0.4-0.5mm till nozzle tip. There has to be another way. Sometimes I long for the manual paper method...

If the nozzle is too high you should put the PINDA higher, not lower...

I'm not sure i understand you... you have nozzle too high and you would like to set live adjust Z into + direction? It's quite opposite: you must go into negative value. I have set to -0.435.

Pinda closer to the bed the higher the nozzle, it does that to protect the nozzle from crashing during calibration. The higher the pinda the lower the nozzle is to the bed. Also make sure your adjusting your pinda height with the steel sheet removed from the bed.

Thanks for the answers I might had it mixed up with the +Z ... I managed to redo the calibration and now I am printing OKish with the Z around -400 ... will have to get it right because, as I paused it from time to time, I would see under-extrusion or something along those lines.
Will keep you posted, thanks for your input.
