MK3 random printer pause
Is any one getting random printer pausing during an SD print?
I have been printing from the SD card and am noticing the print head stopping during the print and not moving until I hit the button on the front display. I have tried two different SD cards and it still happens. I have a Pi Zero connected currently but am not using it to print. I am going to try a print with it disconnected to see if there is a difference. Just wondering if anyone has a idea why this may be happening. 😕
Fw: RC4
Thanks in advance!

Your not the only one. I think this is related to the issues discussed here:
https://shop.prusa3d.com/forum/original-prusa-i3-mk3-f30/mk3-stoping-in-the-middle-of-printing-t13165.html
The RC4 firmware was the first time I encountered it. I haven't had it happen since updating to the RC4 b143e firmware that Josef posted here:

Although I am still having random X & Y movements and shifts.

Thanks Scott! I will start following the other forum.

Re: MK3 random printer pause
If you are running the 143e code then it’s over zealous crash protection. Disable it and you’ll be fine. Same goes for the filament sensor. To get good prints right now you need to disable both these new features until they are more stable.
