Mk3 PINDA v2
I recently received my order for Prusa Orange PETG (which is awesome btw) and I added a set of bearings and a spare PINDA to it.
The PINDA I received was the grey tipped one with grey cable that has already been shown on the forum. What intrigued me was the description on the invoice - "MK3 P.I.N.D.A. V2 probe".
V2 PINDA? I wonder if the V1 black tipped one that shipped with the Mk3 has some kind of an issue. What has caused the change to a V2 unit?
Re: Mk3 PINDA v2
Actually the grey one gets better result than the black one, so good for you. And it's PINDA V2 as well. The PINDA V1 was originaly for MK2, where is only distance sensor in PINDA V1. The V2 has been improvemented by adding thermistor near inductance distance sensor for compensating of temperature drifft of distance sensor. So keep calm, it is false alarm from you 😉
Re: Mk3 PINDA v2
new manufacturer i think.

Don't think I've ever seen a Benchy done with this stuff. Any chance you could knock one up? 😉
