MK3 : lots of errors

Hi,

I started using MK3 few days ago, and MK2 seems a lot more reliable.

It is very silent, seems running smoothly, but never end with a correct prints....

I got shifting layers, plenty of false "crash detection", false "filament detection"...This all end to ruin print after print...The only upgrade working well is the bed, really handy, but it is only to easily detach shifting layer prints or half way prints...

I turn off one after each other, filament sensor, crash detection, speed divide by half...

I run 3.1.1 RC5 150.

Anyone enjoying the MK3 like me ?

Happy print

Nope definitely not me, mine just keeps clogging no matter what layer height, temperature, etc settings i do to it. Even the sample prints clogs as well. Waiting for support to reply me...

You might try downgrading your firmware to RC4. Quite a few people, including me, started having layer shift with RC5 that we were not having on prior firmware. You can get it here...

Quick update :

I kept RC5 and turned off : filament sensor and crash detection + speed 50/60.

Few small prints went well, so i will start print large soon, i'll be back here if it does not work well again,

thanks for advices !

Re: MK3 : lots of errors

Printing MK3, a lot better now. Still don't use filament sensor and crash detection as don't need, but the printings is nice and the bed...so handy. I don't want to print without a flexible bed ! Easy to remove prints, and avoid scratching it with removing tools or so.
I wish to try the others type of surface bed soon !
