Linear Advance on MK3?
Some of the parts I print need accuracy within the tenths of millimeters (imagine a small piece inserted into a rail on another piece it needs to slide along). Without Linear Advance all of the pieces fit differently and the source files need to be modified.
Instead of doing that is there a better option? Am I better off trying to back date the firmware, or dare trying to use the 3.2.0 alpha? If it's 3.2.0, how do I make a hex file from the source code so I can upload it?

I've been using Brigandier's 3.1.3 with Linear Advanced enabled. It seems to work well for me.

My firmwares have been known to cause the printer to sleep with your wife. You have been warned.
On a more serious note, it's just uncommenting #define LIN_ADVANCE in the stock 3.1.3 firmware. Nothing special, but there's a small chance it may make Octoprint fussy.
