LCD knob does not fit - KIT
Does anyone know if the post for controlling the LCD has changed diameter? The knob that came with the printer does not fit, it just slips over the post and proceeds to spin around without actually turning anything. I've downloaded the MK3 STL files and even printed my own knob with the same outcome. I've searched the board and the internet for a while and have found no answer. I have no problem printing my own, but there should be some info on here in case this has happened to others. Maybe an updated or version B STL of the knob could be posted to the parts page if it's found that there are others here with the same issue.

use a screwdriver and SMALL force and sligthly separate the two halves of the shaft

Try re printing the knob say 95% scale size

I just put a blob of hot glue on its fine now

Never thought about just scaling it down. Thanks, I'll try to print a few knobs and see which one fits.

I wouldnt have glued it down, you maybe want to change out the knob for a different one later on 😉
I didnt like the knob prusa provides, went with a larger round one.

I pulled it of before it set so it has the grooves in the glue easy

I had same issue. I printed this knob and it works great. I liked it better because of Knurled surface.

the part that came with my printer was too large as well. i just went to the github page downloaded the file and printed a new one. it fit the first time with no changes what so ever to its size.
