imprinted parts from any material

Does anyone have experience with this: Imprinting parts from any material into the 3D printed part? For example, a nut, so that it is firmly embedded. Or a magnetic metal etc.?
What has to be done is to program a stop to a certain position during printing, insert the desired part and print over it. I can imagine that very elegant solutions can be designed there. Does this function already exist? If so, what's it called? Experiences? Pictures?

You could use colorprint and insert the item whilst the print is paused

This works thank you for this hint! Why is this color-tool online and not built in the computer software? For this use a few more functionalities would be very helpful. For example to manually change some trajectories of the extruder in the gcode. And it is not necessary to change the filament. The color-tool from prusa forces you to unload and reload the filament.

What also would be very powerful is, when it is possible to built in some death-zones where the extruder must not pass through.

Is there maybe a gcode editor- where some of this functionalities are available?

By the way, if someone of the software-developers are reading this: The beeps generated by the Prusa during a color stop are annoying. They'll get you out of bed when you're asleep. I'd really like to think about desoldering the buzzer.
