Heatbed steel sheet bobbeling

Hi

I’m a newbee and have just set up my Prisa i3 MK3. I habe done some minor prints and today I tested a print that was a bit larger.

After the print was done And I removed it from the steel sheet I noticed the the steel sheet seem to have small «boobles» where the print was. When sliding my finger over it’s hard to notice the boobles themself, but it does feel lile there is a slight bump in the sheet at the location the boobles are visible.

I do notise that it seems like the steel sheet is covered by some material, but it seems to be glued good on and not ment to be removed.

I’m printing with the included PLA. The headbed reports 55 degrees.

Anyone that knows what is going on here?
Please see attached image as well.

Regards, TEK

Several posts around on this subject you can find with a search. Also addresses under “Other Things” in the following blog link: https://www.prusaprinters.org/original-prusa-i3-mk3-2-months/

Ahh, there it was.
So, nothing to worry about - and preferrable use both sides of the sheet when printing.

Thanks.
