Hello,

can i put some (1-3) Watt's of 24V from the MK3's Powersupply for a 24V LED-Stripe ?

Is there a Powerconsumption chart of all componets of a MK3 ?

THX

Stock PSU is already maxed@100% use for heat up phase, as long as these come on after that you should be ok.

Never seen a chart, but in the other PSU threads here in the MK3 forum, people have posted the wattages of the bed, hot end, and stepper motors.

Since the PSU is only ever maxed out at 240 watts when the bed and extruder are both preheating at the same time, one option would be to have your bed and your extruder heat up separately, one after the other. Simplify3D does this by default. A simple startup gcode edit will accomplish this in Slic3r.

However the the safer option by far if you need to borrow any extra wattage for additional devices/components (LEDs, RPi, enclosure fans, etc) would be to ditch the PRUSA PSU and buy a quality 3rd party PSU with extra headroom. (Meanwell 320 or 350 watt for example.)
