Filamentsensor melting filament

Hi!

Anyone else having big problems? I tested the filament sensor by cutting the filament between the roll and the extruder a couple of times.
Then suddenly the extruder didnt eject the filament from the extruder.
After disassembly, I found that the filamentsensor had gotten so warm it melted the filament and also the 3D printed block it is mounted in.
So now I have a broken MK3 that I have used for about 10 hours.
It was not a kit, it was an assembled printer.

I do not get any answers from Prusa Research. I have mailed to [email protected]

You're not the first, see Filament detector overheating.

Oh...... Well I searched for filament "sensor" not "detector" and didnt find any answers. 😀 😀

So there is quit a problem for Prusa Research.

I hope they can manage a solution for this.
