Filament sensor wiring error
Following my build at weekend, the initial calibration / self test went along all OK 100%, i then proceeded with the first layer calibration tests which required several attempts to print anything before a poor rendition of the "test print" as in the manual. I decided to carry on the next evening to refine the first layer calibration prior to my first print.
Unfortunately on starting and running the initial test as requested, it stops at "filament sensor wiring error" , i have reviewed the cable at both ends and triple checked the connections etc and followed suggested help on website. To no avail, and can no longer get pass that point, very frustrating!!
Can some one advise if this can be resolved, or can it be a faulty sensor/wire, (bear in mind it had previously confirmed all was OK)
Re: Filament sensor wiring error
Could be a bad sensor/cable. I recall having this issue when I set up my printer. I remember updating the firmware and re-seating the cable on both ends before it started working. May also want to make sure you didn't accidently crimp the cable with the back of the extruder assembly. Btw manual says extreme light conditions, sun, LED light can affect the sensor. Wonder if it would also affect testing.

Just grasping at straws here but filament sensor can cause false positives under extreme light condition...sunlight, LED light...would guess that could result in an error during testing as well.
Re: Filament sensor wiring error
following my earlier post, i tried to run test again, following resetting etc, still fails at filament sensor, so decided to remove sensor and inspect,
looks like its burnt at sensor , how do i claim replacement

That sucks! Use the chat, they will help you out. In the mean time, I believe you can disable the sensor in the menu until you get a replacement.
