filament sensor calibration fail

I baught the kit version and startet the calibration wizard but it said that i should check the wiring of the filament sensor. So i did quiet a lot of times now and i am 100% sure i installed the cable correctly. I also measured the cable to check if it was broken or something, it shoud just work fine. I don't know if this is a software issue or if the sensor is broken? I flashed the latest firmware "b150" with the given updater before even starting the wizard for the first time.

What bugs me more though is that the printer says i have to calibrate it every time i turn it on but i can't because the wizard fails every time at the filament sensor. So i calibrated it manually via the calibration menu. Just started every point of the menu and adjusted print hight. Prints just fine but it doesn't count that as calibration or something the message appears every time when i turn it on.

Does anyone have the same issue or has any ideas how to fix this? I can live with the fact that filament detection doesn't work for now, i just want to run the machine without annoying error messages in the time i'm looking for a solution to the sensor.

Re: filament sensor calibration fail

you should have an option on the wizard to not see it - I think you get there from not pressing "X" but I'm not 100%.

Do check that the area around your sensor is not getting very hot - if it is, disconnect the sensor. Failed ones can overheat very badly and go up in smoke.
