Filament doesn't load into hotend
Hi,
If I try to load Filament, it ends up just like in the attached image.
It just doesnt hit the entrypoint to hotend.
I already tried:
- Cut the Filament's start in different angles
- Tighten/Loosen up the spring-screws of extruder idler
- Check the Pulley/Idler position, they align perfeclty with the incoming filament
Is there something obvious I'm doing wrong?
Re: Filament doesn't load into hotend
Did you try straightening the end of the filament with your hands? The filament has a natural bend to it. You've got to unbend t a bet to get it to go in. Pretty standard stuff
Re: Filament doesn't load into hotend
Thank You for the answer,
with a bit of that and tightening the screws again (a nut for the springscrew was able to rotate freely in its place, had to to 'hold it in place' with a screwdriver) it now works fine.
😀 first testprint ready to go

Edit:
Sorry if I scared you, but I could not see the Teflon tube until I opened the extruder. It looks okay now. Maybe it was the filament that had a bent tip. 😀
