Extruder motor specs
Hi I was just wondering what the specs of the extruder motor is, I'd like to know all the motors but the extruder is the most important. I'm thinking of building a clone of the mk3 as a see if I can, once my actual mk3 is here.

I can't say for certain on the motor but I suspect it is a NEMA17 1.8 degree motor.
If you have not already seen, the YouTuber CRT has just done a video on making a close as possible MK2S clone:
He has put together a BOM for his clone which is always a good starting place. Cloning a MK3 may be more tricky given the new heatbed, the differences in the Y axis frame changes and obtaining the filament sensing probe.
