Extruder motor does not advance

I cannot load filament. Motor makes sound and is trying to move. I can feel the filament vibrate as the motor is attempting to move. The pulley is installed correctly, it is aligned with the filament openings. The set screw is tight and on the flat portion of the shaft. I can rotate the shaft with my finger. I moved the idler away from the pulley and use the control panel to move the extruder motor, again this only causes the motor to try to spin. I am not sure what else to try at this point, does this sound like there is an issue with the motor?

Is this the first time loading filament or could you have blockage somewhere down stream of the motor? If this is the first time loading filament I've read previously that parts can come from the factory with burrs in them that cause binding.

Yes, just finished building the kit and this is the first time trying to load filament. The shaft spins when the power is off by using my finger.

Interesting, I had this issue at first as well, I think i removed the 2 tensioner screws and got the filament started manually or something, now its been working well, and does filament loads/unloads fine too
