Dear Diary, Nov 28, Josef Prusa responded to my post that first shipments will go out Nov 29th. Josef, who looks like a younger fitter Santa Claus and his engineers (who I imagine are decedents of elves or at least Czech equivalent to elves who migrated to Europe in the early 1500's right after the Great Elvin wars which brought Santa Claus to Power in the North Pole but that is another story for another time. ) are working hard to get the MK3 shipped. Much like Santa and his elves they are checking their list and checking it twice to see who gets the first shipments. But unlike Santa they are checking to see who's payment has cleared and maybe not so much as who is naughty or nice.
I have one more day to keep the dream alive of seeing a shipping notice in my email box. Until midnight Nov 29 I can dream of printing Sugar Plums and Candy canes on Christmas morning as my wife slowly realizes I spent $800 on a 3D printer for the , cough cough, kids. Then I will be explaining the education value of learning engineering and she will be having none of it and then the argument will begin and I will be sitting there as quite as a monkey eating candy in a pinata wondering how am I getting out of this one and is it just a coincidence that a man who strangely resembles Santa Claus meets up with the break away elves who escaped his great great great Grandfather. I mean what are the chances of them meeting 400 years later in the Czech republic and forming a company making 3D printers unless is was not some bigger purpose?
Until Midnight Nov 29 I can imagine my ship date is Nov 29 much like when I buy a lottery ticket and dreaming of what I will do with my millions until a waitress at Denny's named Diana in the central valley is on the news with her winning ticket.
Until then Josef AKA" Svalnatý Santa Claus " and his renegade elves have until midnight to prove me wrong in my belief my MK3 is shipping on Nov 29.
