Correct PINDA Probe height setting or bad PINDA probe?

The manual says to set the PINDA probe height with the middle of a ZIP tie provided this did not work.

With FW 3.1.2 In order to make the PINDA probe work at all I had the set the probe height to just 3 layers of paper. Still do not know if this is working correctly since the printer does not print constantly during the live z adjustment. It is squished across the z axis and high on the y axis and corners.

The pinda has a light that triggers when you put it close to metal.

You could raise z watch the light and move metal to the tip of the pinda. It should go off in the range of 2mm.

If it does not I would consider your pinda broken.
