Clogged nozzle when printing small parts in PLA

Hello everybody,

it has happened to me several times when printing PLA parts, that the nozzle clog.
This always happens at small, fine places where a quick change of position happens.

Thereafter, the HotEnd must be removed and then the remainder PLA.
This happens with Filemanet of Prusa, Devil Design, Extrudr and Heart.
The same happened with TPU (but it came out laterally), the solution was to raise up the temperature very much.
With PLA I can not raise the temperature (225 degrees / Devil Design), because then the 1 layer does not hold.
Than I have raise the contact pressure of the filament.
I thought it would be due to the E3D HotEnd and have exchanged the thermal barrier and nozzle against a coated variant.

It though better, but it's still not gone.
I have no idea what is the problem.
I have never had a printer where this happens so often! 🙁

Here are my settings, they are from the forum her:

And here some pictures of the problem:

Can someone help me?

Best regards,
Georg

Id try setting your retraction distance to 0.8 mm, Retraction speed to 35 mm/s, coasting distance 0.20mm and wipe distance 2.00mm and tick coast at end and wipe nozzle. Also set the extrusion with to 0.45

hi georg, If you get another jam, try raising the extruder well above the build plate,

slacken off the spring loading on the bondtech drive gears, so the filament is loose

heat the nozzle to say 240C

and see if you can push the filament into the top of the extruder to make it come out of the bottom and start flowing properly again...

then readjust the bondtech pressure springs, in line with the instruction manual.

this issue could be due to excessive retraction, loose springs not gripping the filament well, or tight springs deforming the filament or a combination...

regards Joan
