Blackout recovery doesn't work
So last night my printer lost power at about 90% of the way through an 11 hour print. After PGE fixed the power outage I went in to see the recovery screen. I clicked yes, the bed and extruder heated up and then the print resumed. However it resumed about 20cm offset from where it should have.
Shouldn't it have homed X and Y before resuming the print? Because it did not.

are you saying offset in the x and y? if so it might have been bumped with the power off.
if at any time you want it to rehome x and y grab the x carriage smooth rod and let the x carriage bump your fingers
that will produce a layer shift which will cause rehoming.
