Autoload locks up printer
Hello,
New MK3 from kit. I have been using auto load/unload, and most of the time is has worked great.
This has happened about three times. I will autoload, and have to say NO, the correct color is not coming out about three times, before the extrusion is completely the correct color. So far, so good.
But, these three times, when I selected YES, the extruder would go into overdrive, forcing a stream of filament out that is 1.0mm wide, when the test extrusion had been 0.42mm (0.4mm nozzle). You can really hear the extruder grunting it out. The printer is unresponsive over the serial port during this time (the OctoPrint graphs skip from the time this starts to the time I reset it).
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Re: Autoload locks up printer
It's constipated. Give it a laxative. A bit of oozing is better...
No idea on this issue... Quite weird. Worrying if something like that were to happen mid print... Though I've never had it happen.
Hi, I'm Sean. I used to work on CNC machines.
I try to not make mistakes, but the decision is YOURS.
