Are you an early adopter?

Sure seems like a lot of whiners buying MK3s. Perhaps the concept of being an early adopter is lost on some folks.

So....relax....breath slowly....imagine how excited you will be when it arrives.

And be prepared to discover some things that might have slipped by in the design/build/ship rush to make people happy.

It is all part of being an early adopter. Enjoy the challenge.

But if that is too much to deal with, perhaps you might consider a tried and true MK2.

And if you are truly hopeless, go get a Makerbot. I am sure all the bugs have been worked out by now (insert smirk here).

As for bitching about a free T-Shirt.......go naked for goodness sake. 😀

Fully prepared for early adopter issues... and I know they do not carry my shirt size... that being spinnaker ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spinnaker ) so a shirt is really no use to me- but my wife might wear one. 😛

Re: Are you an early adopter?

So what are you saying? We should know the posted shipping dates are unrealistic? Yes, technically Prusa shipped a few units so they did "start shipping in November". But only to those who purchased in the first few hours. I understand early adopter issues but still feel Prusa had a decent handle on what they were capable of delivering and their posted "starts shipping in November" was a bit disingenuous. Will I hold out? At this point yes, but I'll not defend their approach.

Well, we have the "whiners", and then, there are those that feel the need to create a useless thread like this one to call other people whiners..... 🙄

Was this really necessary?? lol 😀

Whining about the "whiners", IS whining.
Say that five times fast.

Re: Are you an early adopter?

when I placed my preorder I expected there to be some problems. the snag with the heated bed and the fact that they have come up with an expectable solution so fast is impressive. if that is as bad as it gets I would say that they have done well. as far as shipping go's, what were people really expecting??? there was no promise that the units would ship at the end of November only that shipping would start. with the bed supplier problem I'm just glad they were able to start shipping. those who do not want stick on sheet bed can opt to wait till the powder coated ones come in.

all and all I think they have done well, it could be worse.
