I notice that the expected shipping date for new order has been shifted to Jan 2018 instead of Feb previously.
So can I assume everything along the production line is going smoothly?

I never saw it say February on the site (did you?), I check everyday and its always said January (since they updated it.) It only said Feb on the blog post, and I think they just forgot to update it on the site. I would assume its still February and maybe March now for orders going in today.

Awe dang... Joseph sent out a message via email titled, New major firmware release and Black Friday promo.
Like another thread here, when I saw the from Joseph Prusa line I thought we have arrived and we are in fact there now. Nope, just a free shipping promo on the MK2s... Not to make fun, saving $80 in shipping fees is a NICE deal. Just not the MK3.... 😥

It's kinda cryptic but Jo tweeted Joel and asked him if he was printing yet. Joel also tweeted something regarding printing with repunzel silver filament, which is the filament that ships with the MK3.

Somebody commented in Joel's latest video that the mk3 is in the background. I wasn't certain but there are two prusas side by side, and one looks like it has black aluminum extrusions on the Y axis. I can't really tell for certain so take that with a grain of salt.

He has 2 mk2s. One was a kit and and one was prebuilt and signed by Josef Prusa. The one on the right is the signed Josef Prusa one. There is something in-between them that looks like aluminum extrusion but isn't. It even has a similar spool holder, but it isn't the one that comes with the mk3

In joels latest video, I see orange corners at both printers. I see x endstop cable on left one. I see filament bearing thing on top of extruder. So for me these are two MK2S.

Got my shipping notice. But No powder-coated spring steel sheet due to problems with their manufacturing in large and constant quality. So might get shipped with smooth PEI speet version. Plus free T-shirt
