Adjusting Z

I can not adjust the distance between the nozzle and the steel plate.
In the tutorials come values of -1,100 or -0,800 or -1,450. But if I go down to a value of -. 35 the nozzle sticks with the steel plate.
I left it at 0.130 but at the time of sending the sample print of the PRUSA logo that comes on the SD card, the filament does not adhere well and does not print well.
What I do? 🙄

Re: Adjusting Z

Can you clarify what you are doing?

Have you run the xyz calibration? Any issues reported there?

Did you then the first layer calibration?

Can you show us a picture of what your first layer calibration looks like? Start with the back line at zero, and then drop to -0.1, -0.2, etc. for subsequent lines moving forward (until/unless the nozzle is getting very close to the bed and the lines are very 'squashed')?

Being more explicit about what steps you have taken, and showing pictures of the problems you are having, will help.

Re: Adjusting Z

This sounds like your Pinda is too low. Did you put a zip tie under it when fitting it?

Edit: too high, even...

Re: Adjusting Z

hello Paul and Stuart, thanks for answering. Before anything is the first time I buy a 3D printer and I put it together.

Paul:
I did my XYZ calibration and it did not throw any problems.
The problem is that in the first layer calibration my adjustment in Z is -.132, that is, it does not even reach -.35 when it touches the steel bed.

In fact I went down more and I scratched the sheet (here the image)
In the tutorials:

- In the 03:04:24 a Thomas comes out -.88

In 9:20 a Josef Prusa is left at -1.15.

What I did was leave it at -.132 and that's how it stayed (Image)

Then I sent to print the logo of prusa that comes in the SD card but it does not adhere to the sheet and the result was that of the image, so I had to cancel the printing.

I think it's because the first layer claibration is not well done. Or what will it be?

Thank you
