Restart on power loss feature

It puzzles me that the Prusa does not have this. It seems like this should be something you could do in the firmware, tho I don't know what or how much static storage the Prusa has access too. You can edit the g-code yourself to start off where you left off, but since you don't know exactly where that was, you have to measure roughly to the area and guess, which is never 100% correct. It would be a lot easier if the Prusa itself had the G-code stored, and knew what the last command was so it could continue from there. You wouldn't even need to do the recalibration it does at the start of every print if that was also kept.

Is there some sort of technical reason why this hasn't been implemented yet? Because I don't believe for a second this feature idea hasn't come up before.

You mean maybe they could implement something like this?

@bobstro

Is that a currently implemented function? If so, fantastic! My bad for not updating the firmware I guess

It was functioning on my Mk3 when it arrived in late March 2018, yes.
