High temperature upgrade
Hi,
I am interested in printing Ultem 9085 with my i3 mk2 (need chemical resistivity): http://www.3dxtech.com/ultem-9085-3d-printing-filament/ . It requires ~350C hotend which I cannot currently achieve with built in hardware/firmware on the i3 mk2. In their documentation, e3d says their hotends can go to 400c with a thermocouple upgrade, or this PT100 upgrade: http://e3d-online.com/V6-PT100-Sensor-Kit . I was wondering if you could offer me a suggestion of which direction to go as I imagine I may have to make some changes to the firmware and create a fork if there is not one already (or maybe it's a drop-in replacement).
Thanks,
Justin
