firmware feature request
Not sure if there's an official place to make requests for changes to the firmware, so I'll post this and perhaps if this is wrong someone could let me know?
Very simple this one.
On the LCD, and the bottom line, it shows the filename being printed. Could the firmware be modified so it does not bother displaying the file extension?
We know it's a code file, I don't need to see that. So when I have a file being printed called: TwentyCharacterFile1.gcode it spends most of its time scrolling across the display, to fit the ".gcode" characters in. This really does make no sense, right?
So, like, don't display those unnecessary six characters.
I could even do a pull request for it, but I've not yet dug into the dark magic that is compiling the Prusa firmware from source, although I'm comfortable with Marlin on standard boards.
