Extra current path for Heater bed using Fuse tap

Hello,

I was thinking about adding an extra positive pathway for current to make it from the Rambo to the heater bed using the fuse tap shown below.

Any suggestions on where I should add a parallel negative wire?

Tell me, how will the additional power be switched?

Peter

Edit: Here's the circuitry. Note the negative is switched via the mosfet.

In looking at the schematics, I see your point. I guess I will just solder the wires right below the terminal screws on the bottom of the rambo board and perhaps use a deans connector.

I really do believe that it best to cut out all mechanical only connections for the high currents if you are having issues with those already present.

I agree that deans connectors should be OK, but is it worth the risk?

You could double-up on the positive rail, bue that still leaves a problematic negative (switched) rail.

Good point. I will just leave one connection which will be the heat bed wires directly solder to the underside of the Rambo board.
