Z-Color-Change at a defined Z-Value
Hi folks
I want to print a dual-color model. Its a Plate with a Text and Surroud.
The text start at a z value of Z = 4.00 (Plate in black) and then it has 1.00 up to 5.00 (Text in gold)
Due to the fact that i want to print at 0.3mm Layer height, it sets it either at 3.80 or 4.10 what in that particular case, goes wrong because the split has to be at 4.00 precisely.
Does the PS does have a possibility to set a value for the Z-Change? Or can you just setting it by lower the layer height?
I could print it in 0.2mm or 0.1mm in case of need, but for me, its just too long waiting until the change comes...
Or any other ideas to solve it?
regards

Variable Layer Height should do the trick. https://help.prusa3d.com/article/variable-layer-height-function_1750
I try to give answers to the best of my ability, but I am not a 3D printing pro by any means, and anything you do you do at your own risk. BTW: I have no food for…

You can change the height of a layer specifically using a "Height Range Modifier". Just change the layer heigth of the range 3,8 to 4,0 to 0,2.
