X-Y axis off by 0.2mm suddenly

I bought my Prusa MK3S brand new assembled from prusa in june 2021.I have been printing a lot of prints  since then without any real problems .(clogged nozzle once and loose heat end).Lately i noticed my X and Y measurements where off 0.2mm on a cylinder that needed to be 57mm.I did not changed a thing ,checked belt status which was fine (251 and 270)  and skew is actually improved now 0.00 (when i bought it it was 0.02). Do i need to recalibrate the steps/mm or should i be looking for something else ?
The Z measurements are perfect btw.

Maybe belts loose or toothed gears loose. Or idlers failing

If the belts where loose then the belt status wouldn't be 251 /270 ...So i don't think that could be it.

0.2mm is actually quite accurate, it's half the width of the standard nozzle.  All sorts of variables might affect accuracy at this level: - temperature variation causing thermal expansion/contraction, extrusion multiplier, the order in which you print your perimeters, whether your filament is damp and which type of filament are just a few.  And, of course, your printer has had 5 months of work to run-in and it's initial settings were for a brand new machine.

@joantabb is implying that it's time for a general maintenance session, which should come a long time before attempting any more fundamental changes.

After maintenance and recalibration your now run-in printer will be more stable so it only remains to reinstate the initial printing conditions:  Use new or freshly dried filament and ensure the workroom is at a similar temperature and you should get similar results.

Cheerio,

My prusa printer is in a enclosure .I changed the x and y axis dimensions afterwards in the drawing ( +0.2mm) and it came out perfect on 57mm.This was all printed on a 0.6mm nozzle with prusament petg on prusa settings with the prusaslicer.
Filament is always stored in a vacuum sealed bag inside a sealed container.
It is however time to do some maintenance haven't done that since i bought it.I will start from there .But if things don't change could i  go ahead and look into changing the steps/mm?

@hondanickx

I'm just throwing this out there, just in case, Is it possible that you have 0.1 or 0.2 entered in Print Settings/Advanced/Slicing :XY Size Compensation, in Slicer?

In extreme cases PETG can absorb enough water to cause problems within the time it takes to complete a larger print... it is almost always worth drying.

It is usually a mistake to alter settings to 'fix' a general printing problem.  Changes should be reserved for cases where a generally well set up machine needs to handle a non-standard-print problem.

If things don't change come back here with pictures of the issue and a zipped .3mf of the project file.

Cheerio,
