What plastic to print gears?
I know the best plastic to print gears would be nylon; PLA too is good due to its stiffness, but PLA does not resist to high temperatures. I have recently started to print PETG and I like it very much, totally smells-free and good heat resistance, but I've read it's the worst filament for gears since it's quite elastic. Are there some of the newer filaments that are as good as PLA for printing gears but heat-resistant? I'd like to avoid dehydrators for printing nylon and / or steel nozzle for carbon fiber plastics. Are CPE or XT good enough for printing gears, or are they too elastic like standard PETG?

Interested in the subject as I need to print some gears and experiencing much difficulties printing nylon with my MK3S
Where it puzzles me is that when I check the filament-material-shart, nylon is not quoted "green" in terms of tensile strength.
Now, my English is far from perfect so what qualities should I look out for as for strength in an environment with forces-applied-to-gears?
I am wondering if I should rather try out ASA (again problems with warping, even with enclosure), or PC Blend.
Yet in another thread I read that PC Blend, however very strong, seems to become brittle in these gear-conditions.
ANyone more info or advice?

I've had good luck printing gears using plain vanilla PLA.
I've done very coarse ones for a model railroad moving platform, and finer ones for a toilet tank auto flush mechanism.
Both were drafted using FreeCad's involute gear tool.

94 degrees C good enough for thermal resistance? This stuff has about 0 warping for me when printed in an enclosure at 256/60 degrees C and I have probably printed about 20kg of that, after having dismissed a number of other makers´ ASA as absolutely inferior.
