Re: weird problem (supports missing)

if the parts are thinner than the first layer height, slic3r will ignore the cross ties, that connect the unicorn detail elements to the outline, are you using 0.35mm first layer? try 0.2mm first layer

if the detail elements are thinner than the filament extrusion width, Slic3r will ignore the details

options...
you could reduce the first layer height and hope that brings back the tie bars, or,
you could resize the model, in Slic3r, in the vertical axis, which will make the cutter bigger in the z direction

you could use a 0.25mm nozzle and 0.25 nozzle settings in Slic3r this should bring the details back, or
you could enlarge the model in the X &Y directions which would thicken the parts, or
you could try reducing the extrusion width for perimeters in Slic3r down to say 0.42 or 0.41mm

or you could ask the vendor for help...

or you could try a different model https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2792159/files

this seems to slice ok with a 0.4 nozzle
