Wave pattern in my prints

I'm seeing some wave patterns in my prints (see the 500 z-index portion of the prints). Any idea what might be causing this?

I've included a picture of the prints at different pinda probe distances. Prior to these prints, I used the calibration wizard twice to set my pinda probe height, though it still looks too high. Could that be part of it?

As an aside (because I don't know if it's related), this started happening when my extruder motor acted up as detailed by this post: extruder-motor-stuttering--t28875.html I think this is a different issue though.

Looks like your Live-Z is off - probably too high, causing that distortion. If you have not already done so, try using Jeff Jordan's "Life Adjust" procedure for calibrating your Live-Z setting. It is much easier to use and understand than the on-board routine.

And above all else, avoid touching the PEI print surface.

I fixed this by getting a new nozzle.
