Warping/bubbling on Top Surface for print that used to run fine
Good morning. I'm having a hell of a time getting a set of game tiles to print successfully on my MK3s+. What's doubly bedeviling is that I've printed these before with no issues - for some reason running them now gets me bad top surfaces, and I have other prints that are coming out just fine.
Here's the print with PrusaSlicer default 0.2 Quality settings. You can see the pillows/waves around the top and left of the print.
I did try a print with an increase to eight top layers, rather than the default six, and it seemed to improve things somewhat, but not completely. There's still a couple noticeable blisters in the lower left.
I'm rather at the end of my rope and would appreciate any advice. I'm wondering if I might have a wonky cooling fan? It definitely runs, but maybe it's slowed in some way over time, which would explain why this used to print fine and now doesn't?
Thanks!

Is the bottom of the finished print under the affected area perfectly flat? If you have even a slight amount of warping on that corner it will affect the top layers. Make sure your print sheet is clean.
Cheers

Did a few things to try to fix this.
- Cleaned the print sheet.
- Replaced the print fan. Seemed like it was making a grinding noise, this may have been a red herring
- Recalibrated, nozzle is a little higher than it was before.
- Tried a slightly lower print temperature.
- Tried a different filament
- Add a brim to keep the edges down.
I think the print fan didn't help, recalibrating and the lower print temperature did. I was able to get a good print out, and then ran another last night with two prints on the bed, and got this:
So maybe one area of the build plate is a bit more worn than the other? I'm trying a print now in that front left area to see if that makes a difference.

The plot thickens.
An additional print in the same location as the previous one that came out good shows notable waving.
So now I don't know what to think. Maybe a bad thermistor?
Here's what Octoprint tracked for the last part of the print - all the graph I have.
So it certainly seems to be keeping a stable temperature, but that presumes the thermistor is reporting accurately.

Just double checking - you’re sure there’s no warping of the part as it prints?
Have you dried your filament?
What material are you printing?
Have you printed a temperature tower to see where the potential best setting lies?
Cheers
