Voronoi vase - support or not support - not able to decide

Hello,

I'm new to 3D printing and trying to challenge myself with a large voronoi vase. The vase has lots of overhang perimeter but if I use support, it going to be ugly and cleaning it up is going to be a challenge. Not sure which direction to go. Any help would be welcome.

I doubt that would print great. And like you said, support will be hard to remove.

How about scaling it down in prusaslicer by 50% or even more and just give it a try.

That would save lots of time and filament and you will always learn something from trying.

I was gonna say just go for it with no supports, keep an eye on it, and no matter how it turns out you will learn something valuable for your future prints.

Yeah... You will most probably learn that this was a waste of time and filament. That vase is printable - at least with PLA the bridges should print ok provided you have your speeds and temperatures tuned in perfectly. But if you are new to 3d printing and are printing with default settings this would be a surprise if it turned out any good... so: surprise us! 🙂

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

you know, I think @robin is right, why bother trying to print this, in fact you should probably just sell your printer, whats the point in trying?

instead just save your time and money, go look on thingiverse find something your interested in and come back here and ask @robin how it will print, or better yet have him print it for you and send you a picture of it, I think that would make him feel happy.

Best of Luck
