Unexpected results with slic3r
Hi, I'm new to 3D printing, I've printed about 3 kg so far, and I'm having problems slicing this object https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2477357 with Slic3r (version 1.39.1), slicing it with PrusaControl works fine.
The object is like a cup, the resulting g-code is solid with top and infill.
The top of the cup is "missing", and the inner perimeter is higher than the external one.
It seems that slic3r fails to "join" the inner and external perimeters (by layer 67.4 mm)
My settings: (Original i3 Mk3 kit)
Layers & perimeters: default 0.15 settings
Infill: 20% (default )
Support: No
Can you help me to discover what I'm doing wrong, and how to fix it?
Thanks!
Re: Unexpected results with slic3r
EDIT... I'm not sure what is required for this. S3d doesn't have any issues.
Re: Unexpected results with slic3r
Attaching g-code and STL file.
Re: Unexpected results with slic3r
@reid.b
The expected result is not having infill in the inner of the cup ( just the walls perimeters).
Re: Unexpected results with slic3r
Something is wrong with that file.
Re: Unexpected results with slic3r
This is a "mate" .... from my country so it is personal now ... 😀
I used Meshmixer to make it solid. Slic3r does no longer report 160 manifold errors. Hope it works better now.
Re: Unexpected results with slic3r
Most likely the STL file is broken. Try this fixed one attached.
If that doesn't work, check it with Meshmixer.

@nicolai.r
Thank you! it's working now.
What have you used to fix it?

But usually I'm using Meshmixer for that.
