Two completely different profiles, same part?
I just got some TPU (man did I ever get a jam the first time I loaded!!) and I am doing some experimentation. Thanks to a kind soul in the Discord channel, I have a pretty good profile from which to work with the TPU. My challenge comes however with a specific application.
I am making a coaster where I want the first couple of layers to be TPU (think a rubber mat against the table) and then PETG after that. I can sort of muck my way through changing a lot of the settings with first layer settings and height layer settings, but I'd really like to use all of my optimized PETG settings when I start printing that.
The best idea I can come up with is somehow print two coasters - one from 0.0 to 0.50 for instance with the TPU settings, and another one that only starts at 0.50 and finishes with my PETG settings.
Hopefully, that makes sense?

RE: Two completely different profiles, same part?
Have a look at this:
I used it successfully for simple parts with only a small number of changes before I got an MMU.

Hm ... maybe? I need to play with that. In my head, I make a copy of my part, import both, and use the "Part Manipulation" to use a different virtual head for the base?
