Supports which start on model - Not sticking
I am trying to print the 'Front' of the OpenRC F1 car and having trouble with the supports. They start half-way up the incline but never seem to stay attached. and end up catching and then being a mess.
I thought I would Enforce the supports to start from the build plate, but as there is no overhang above this section the supports will not start there.
See images below. The supports from build plate are fine, it's the support which starts on the inside of the model which won't attach.
Any help / advice would be good.

your model tilts to the right in the top picture,
could you consider tilting it further so that the back angle is in the region of 45 degrees to the vertical,
this would mean accepting support under the feet, and up the back of the model for a distance but you wouldn't need support under the top on the inside, because it would now be at an angle where it can self support, additionally , because the supports would be
'stopping the model from falling over' rather than
'holding the model up to prevent drooping, '
your supports should break away very easily afterwards.
a bit like this, you can see that parts of the stem are able to print self supporting at that angle and the supports are only there to stop the stem from falling over or pushing out of the way as the model gets higher

Thanks for the suggestion. Ideally I wanted to find a way to help the support stay on the printed structure, as tilting the model creates other problems with supports filling in where bolt and screw holes are.
