Stringing issue
I have noticed that on my prints I have fine strings throughout different parts of the print. I have seen this on Inland PLA+ and the silver PLA included with the MK3. I have done some tweaks to the slic3r settings, but I still can't seem to get the stringing down by a significant amount. Any tips would be appreciated.
Here are two samples I printed. The on the left was printed with these settings. The one on the right had less retraction speed and amount. Although the right might look a little better in the picture, it actually had more strings than the left one when looking between the other towers. Both were printed at 195c with the prusa silver PLA included with the MK3.

Try turning off z-hop (Lift Z). It will help with stringing, but you may then have top layer scarring. I'm fighting the same battle.

I turned off z-hop by setting Lift Z to 0. After another print with that adjustment it still has a lot of stringing.

I contacted support on live chat and with their assistance I still am getting lots of stringing. I am getting frustrated that I can't resolve this issue.

I've been battling similar fine stringing for a bit. After looking at Chris Warkocki's profile, I tweaked my own retraction settings and this seems to have resolved the worst of it. Interestingly, the biggest change from my previous settings has been changing Z-Hop to 0.4mm (had it even lower) and retraction speeds down to 30mm/s. I've tried a mix of filament and layer height settings in combination and they seem to be working well so far.
Chris' profiles are excellent so you might just want to start there. I prefer Prusa's other hardware settings. YMMV.

Thanks for the reply bobstro. I tried out those settings but it still looks like a spider is nesting in my prints.

Interesting. I ended up with the exact same settings as posted by bobstro. And I also did the tests with the same model (those spiky tiny pyramids). I was never able to remove stringing completely and I doubt this is possible with this model (because it is a stress test meant to string).
I gave up and printed normal stuff again, just to realize stringing wasn't an issue anymore, even with PETG! So, don't worry about having strings in this test. Just minimize them as good as you can and go on. Normal prints are way easier and will not string. I also did a temperature tower which had a small stringing test itself and ended up at 210°C for the silver prusa pla.
