Strangely warped PETG print
Hello guys.
I'm new to the forum although I've been printing for a while.
I changed materials recently, from PLA (grey) to PETG (green, for it's better temperature handling and other characteristics), but my first print came out strangely warped, as you can see from the pictures.
I'm using Prusament PETG, Slic3r with Prusa PET settings and my MK3 which was doing quite fine on the same model with PLA.
The model is a simple cover 15x15x15cm, with a wall thickness of 1.2mm (translates into 3 perimeters).
Can you suggest what should I change so that the sides are not warped?
RE: Strangely warped PETG print
Warp is common with large parts and PETG, ABS, etc. Most resort to enclosures to deal with the issue. But the first step is to turn down the print fan so the part cools more slowly.
RE: Strangely warped PETG print
Yeah a enclosure will help. Also there is a Prusament PETG Setting in the new slicer configs. It prints quite hot.
RE: Strangely warped PETG print
Thank you for your prompt reply. I tried to turn of the cooling fan and for larger mass prints it seems it does work. I will give it a try with the cover I posted here again and will see, if it works for such a thin cover as well.
Enclosure for the printer is on its way, though.

Errh. No. I get perfect PETG prints. Try changing your filament provider. I use Rigid Ink PETG. I have no axe to grind, just my experience. You are using PET settings not PETG settings.
