strange diagonal artifact in print
Hi everyone,
Please have a look at this print .

Notice the diagonal artifact? I believe this is the origin of each print layer (seam) but I'm not sure why such an artifact is showing up? Thoughts? I'm using...
mk3 running 3.2-555 firmware
slic3r 1.39.2
PETG filament
thanks for your help
Cheers
Chris
Re: strange diagonal artifact in print
I think this is seam too.
Try to change seam setings in slicer, if you have nearest (default) this happen all the time. Try random of rear and make sure the "external perimethers first" is switch off.

Thanks for the reply....Yes it is the seam. I printed some practice pieces using all the options. Aligned or rear seem the best as the seem shows the least. Random creates little speckles throughout the entire surface and looks like a lower quality print.
