Small infill a problem?

I decided to print this last night to entertain my 2 cats.  It's the first thing I've downloaded rather than creating CAD files.

https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/35410-pull-copter-finger-ring

Instructions said to use 0.2 layer height so I selected standard 0.20mm quality option in slicer with Prusament PLA.  All the elements printed fine but the frame didn't look the best quality and came off the bed part way though.

I cleaned the nozzle, made skirt distance 0 and added a brim but couldn't get it to print, after trying a few times I printed something else with the same settings and filament which was fine.  Tried the frame again and still no luck.

 I then increased perimeters to try and eliminate small infill and changed Fill Pattern from Gyroid to Rectilinear and it printed fine.

Just wondered if the standard settings just didn't suit the design and I should have made more of an effort to check it in the slicer before printing?

Thanks

Most important for printing is:

A clean bed, wash with dish soap, no alcohol needed.

And a first layer that is very good.

These 2 settings make the model stick good to the bed.

Your brim has holes in it, first layer not good or not enough filament!

@peter-m26

Thanks, I've been using dish soap owing to lack of alcohol and its been good so thought there was no point in trying to get any.

Yes, I wondered about the gaps too, just been looking through the bin but can't seem to see the brim of the one that printed OK and now I think about it I had removed it on the final one.

I had given the the Z axis a live tweak prior to printing these parts as was using some different PLA and it didn't seem to be printing so well.

Its printing some PETG at the moment and I adjusted Z axis again earlier so I'm going to do some first layer tests when its finished.
