Slicer Settings for Hardened steel nozzle E3D V6

Hello,

I am going to start experimenting with the Hardened steel nozzle E3D V6.

Except raising the temperature by 5C, are there any other slicer parameters that I should modify in the PrusaSlicer?

I assume that the Hardened steel nozzle that is sold on the prusa shop has a diameter of 0.4mm is that correct?

Cheers

Luca

I have not had to alter mine to use these nozzles.

RE: Slicer Settings for Hardened steel nozzle E3D V6

i had my nozzle replaced by prusa for a hardened one during a repair at my request, and had no end of problems, prints failing mid print etc. I did temperature towers for all my filaments, best was an increase by 10deg.C for nozzle temp.  but still had probs- tried  reduced flow rate etc. Finally gave up and replaced back to brass. have had no more probs.

I did notice on prints 4hrs and above, the nozzle temp dropped by 10 before going back to set temperature occasionally and suspected the  fan cooling effecting hard nozzle temp(steel has a higher temp coefficient than brass so loses heat quicker. The brass nozzles are cheap enough so there is no way i'me changing from them
