Scarring on outside of some layers

Hello,

I have a MK3S+ with MMU2S. I am using Prusament bronze to print a chess set, and I am getting weird "scars" (patches where the perimeter is not smooth) around the seam on this same height every print of this file. I have played around with many different settings, mostly extrusion multiplier, layer height, print speed, and nozzle temperature, but none seem to make a noticeable difference and definitely don't get it to the quality I want. I normally use Inland PLA Pro and get great quality. What setting do I need to adjust?

Pictures attached. The last one is a picture of the other side of one of the prints, where there seemed to be no issue with the scarring, but the other side still has it.

Thanks!

@chess3d

You might try printing it a bit hotter, my experience with not only Prusa filaments but also silk type filaments has taught me to slow them a bit and add a bit more heat to the hot end.

Obviously you can do things with the seams as well, however that would just distribute the effect.

If you can post a Zipped up .3mf project file exported from PrusaSlicer, I'll take a look and see if I can help. The .3mf file should be setup as you would when trying to print the part and will allow us to see all the settings as they pertain to the model in your project.

Note: if you do not Zip the file the forum server will not allow it to be posted.

Thanks for the reply. I tried increasing temperatures by more than I had previously, and that helped quite a bit. I will continue to refine it and hopefully get a perfect print. Thanks again!
