Retraction Problem? Anyone have any idea what's going on?

Hi everyone!
I have been trying to print miniatures and after a few minutes of printing "the nozzle is clogged" apparently, but when I take out and put the filament again it comes out as if nothing. I have even changed the nozzle, I could print a figure that took just over an hour and then on the second time I tried the same problem again. Any idea what is causing the problem?

Give us more details.

What printer, what nozzle, what filament, what temperature, and do you use an enclosure.

And how did you change the nozzle? Use the detailed instructions on the E3D site?

I've found that upping temps slightly for printing with a small nozzle can help flow, though you then need to worry about increased stringing.

As @robert-rmm200 says, more info would be helpful. If you zip and upload your 3MF project file, that would be most helpful.

@robert-rmm200 @bobstro

Hi guys,

It's MK3S, with 0.4mm nozzle, Prusa PLA grey, Pruas Slic3r and the Prusa filament settings and without enclosure. I have followed the instructions of E3D, I have 3 MK3S and I have changed nozzle hundreds of times, I do not think I have done it wrong.
I also tell you that I tried many things:
I tested with several layer heights.
I tested with different retraction configurations and even disabling it.
Now I'm trying to print a miniature along with a cube (just a perimeter).

I will tell you how it goes shortly.
Greetings and thanks for answering.

You're going to have a hard time printing that model with a 0.40mm nozzle. The sword is particularly thin in parts:

As a result, it will be difficult to slice with a 0.40mm nozzle. Notice how much of the sword is missing.

You can try enabling detect thin walls, but that's not likely to be enough for all the fine detail without going with a smaller nozzle.Even with a 0.25mm nozzle, that figure is tricky. Was it designed for FFF printing?

@bobstro

I understand what you say, but that is not the problem, I am satisfied with this type of result, the problem is that in most miniatures prints the printer stops extruding. Look at the image of the first comment. Most of the time I get an print like that.

@nino-nobile

Your issue is most likely a heat creep. With 0.4 nozzle and this object it's almost permanent retraction nightmare for the extruder. You can try to cool down the whole extruder, turn off retractions and maybe use smaller nozzle will also help.

@nikolai-r

Yes, I think it is something like what nocolai says, although if I remember correctly I have already tried turning off the retractions. But I will try one more. For now I solved it by printing the miniatures on another printer XD
