Random mild jams
So I have both a mk2 and just got a mk3. For the most part haven't really had issues (over 200hrs printing) with the mk3, but it has recently started to jam. Once I hear it, pause the print and raise the temp on the nozel it will start printing again and then after about 45mins same problem. Kinda at a a loss of what is going on, but it seems pretty consistant at the 45mins and it clogs, have tried other brands of pla and still having the same issue. Any advice would help. Never had this happen with the mk2
Re: Random mild jams
Did you check the "Summer Upgrade" news from Prusa?
There is a secion about a new extruder design to increase the cooling efficiency of the extruder.
Requires printing new parts and complete disassembly & new assembly of the extruder. 😕
But supposedly taking care of these jams.
I haven't experienced any jams, but I am printing in a cool environment (17-20°C)
Also heard that only PLA is affected, filaments with higher melting points not.
Based on that experience these jams only happen in warm ambient conditions with PLA and the old extruder.
Changing any of these 3 parameters should solve or at least improve the situation
Re: Random mild jams
I had the same issue with mine (always using PLA), ended up having to send it back to Prusa and they said they found no issues. When I got it back I moved the printer to an air-conditioned room downstairs and tried again. The greatly reduced ambient temp definitely made a big difference, although I'm not looking forward to the increased electricity bill if I have to keep this up! Taiwan's heat and humidity are not great partners for printing. I'll be working on printing the new extruder parts this weekend. Hopefully it'll help even more.

You may have a look here:
it sounds to me that you are clse to a fully jammed hotend

Here is an interested mod to the new R3 extruder design to accept a 20mm thick Noctu fan for even cooler heat break:
